From the comforting office décor and
soothing music to the inviting,
family-oriented ambience, Dr. Gupta's
personal-care approach and environment offer
a distinctive departure from the typical
office visit. “I like to spend as much
one-on-one time as possible with each
patient, explaining exam results and
treatment options,” says the soft-spoken
physician, who specializes in the use of
“the wand” for painless anesthesia. “Our
office also makes follow-up calls after each
visit, to cover any questions or concerns,
and we keep you updated with reminders when
it's time for your next checkup or cleaning
appointment.” A native of Oklahoma, Dr.
Gupta received her clinical training at New
York University and was one of a small
number of students selected for a one-year
residency program during her last year in
dental school. She taught dental students at
the University of Iowa while running her own
private practice there, and was an associate
in a Fort Worth dental group prior to
setting up her own Frisco office in 2003.
Her commitment to the community extends out
to volunteer activities as well. In New
York, she helped establish a dental care
program for pregnant teens. Here, she works
with Texas Dentists for Healthy Smiles and
Give Kids a Smile Day, both local programs
providing free dental care to needy
children. Dr. Gupta resides in Frisco with
her husband, Dr. Raj Gupta, and their two
children.
